Hello all. We will continue to meet on Monday's and Wednesday's until Dec 12th this year. We will NOT be having meetings on Nov 21 and Nov 26 because school is out on those days. See “BUILD SEASON” below of for meeting times starting in January. We also know which 2 events we will be competing in next year, dates and locations listed below. We will not be traveling to any out of state events this season. I also included information about the Livingston County Robotics Alliance. Livingston County Robotics Alliance
We created the Livingston County Robotics Alliance with neighboring teams this summer. This alliance has been great to share knowledge about FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). We have attended trainings from other teams, shared field element builds, created larger event volunteer lists, and share information. The teams in the alliance are:
We are planning a joint kick off with the alliance. We also plan on collaborating and practicing with these teams in advance of competing. We are still looking for a shared location to setup a field and hold a few practices together. Note that we will design, build, and run our team completely independently of the alliance. We only plan on using the alliance to prove our robot in advance of competition events, similar to attending week 0 at Kettering. At the competition events we are not required to select each other. We are excited to get some joint practice in before events and feel it will help us be more prepared for events to get multi-robot practice on a practice field.
We will be at Milford with 3536, 3668, 4362, and 4776. We will be at Lansing with 3668, 4776, and 7056.
